got your postcard, as did ballywalter and pebbles. great interest back home about your meanderings, geographical rather than mental that is. you'll be sorry to hear you've missed the Dromara Hilly. I was slaughtered, worst day ever on a bike. Looking forward to inspecting the Thorn; it looks bomb proof, just like yourself, old chap.

PS, by the way, whatever you do, don't talk about cricket. The Aussies just hammered England in the 4th Test inside 3 days. They won by an innings and 80 runs, or thereabouts. You could always pretend to be a posh paddy; you know the sort of thing, " cricket's for nancy boys, I'm a hurling man meself"

ReplyDeleteDid start to enjoy baiting the Aussies over their cricket defeat. Now I keep my mouth shut after the fourth test. Mind you the big thing here is Footie...Aussie rules. They are nuts about it..
